Apathy
This year apathy is worse than ever among my students. How do you reach those students who have let apathy derail them? Is it technology that will cut through the apathy? Entertaining the students on a daily basis while trying to squeeze in the content?
I'm a Social Studies teacher at MHS. I teach primarily grades 10-12. I also have the opportunity to work with MHS's 8th Hour Program (aka Night School), and the summer school program. At the moment I am teaching American History II (Progressivism-Today) and General Psychology. In the past I've taught Law and Society, Sociology, American History I, and World Cultures.
In May of 2009 I began working on my MS in Education with an emphasis in technology.
